Maryland Center for History and Culture

The Maryland Center for History and Culture (formerly The Maryland Historical Society) was looking for a rebrand that would show new audiences that they are contemporary, while not alienating their existing supporters. ‘The Center’ has more to offer than many people realize. Tackling this shortcoming became the focus of the rebrand and inspired the direction for the logo. The interlocking pieces of the logo illustrates the breadth and diversity of their collection. I concepted and executed the brand, style guide, social media assets, print materials, and signage.
